Cascading Thoughts of a Pregnant Priestess

What do you envy or admire about other faiths?

What do you envy or admire about the faith/religions/rituals/etc. of other traditions?

I admire and am envious of other religions that have the means to make large, long-term charitable acts. I wish the Pagan community had the means to serve our community in bigger ways!

I am envious of other religions that have been so fully integrated into American culture that members of that faith can wear the symbols of their religion without fear.

I am envious of other religions that have such a weight in our government. Even though there are more and more Pagans getting involved in local government, we are no match for the representation and influence of other faiths. Yet.

In some ways, I admire other faith’s religious traditions, so long as they still are appropriate for our changing, modern times.

I admire other religion’s ability to welcome back those people that have fallen away from their religious observances.

I admire the personal stories of those that follow a particular faith. Listening to someone’s story about how they came to their religion is always powerful.

I admire all positive creative works based on one’s religion. Religious art, music and writing can be intensely moving, as long as it is not full of hate and intolerance or invoking fear.
